The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki provides a broad framework of support for the everyday life of its students. In this section you will find information on housing, meals and health services.
Accommodation
Undergraduate and postgraduate A.U.Th. students, as well as PhD candidates, who come from large and/or low-income families, are entitled to free accommodation in the Student Halls of Residence. Social and economic criteria are considered for the selection of the students eligible to be accommodated in the Students Halls of Residence.
All other students are welcome to visit the Department of Studies website where they can find a list of private accommodation offers, as well as links to some of the major real estate agents in Thessaloniki.

University Student Club
The Student Club is a legal entity of public law, and is part of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Its facilities are located on the eastern side of the campus. The Student Club can be accessed from the entrance in Nea Egnatia Street or from the entrance in 3rd September Street. The facilities include one of the largest refectories in north Greece, medical service and a snack bar. The Student Club provides students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with food, accommodation and medical care.
Student Health Services/ Insurance/ Special needs
All Aristotle University students, including foreigner visitors, have equal rigths regarding their possible needs for health care. The quality and extent of care provided is defined by relative laws and determined by the socioeconomic setting of the country.
The Student Health Care Service located in the University Student Club building and the AUTH Primary Health Care Centre located in the administration building, are both providing daily basic primary care services and counselling.
The Counseling and Guidance Centre provides counseling and psychological support to students thay express relative needs.
