AUTh and various external bodies offer scholarships and bequests to students who excel academically or face financial hardship. Calls for applications are announced during the academic year through the Secretariat and the School’s website.

IKY Scholarships

The State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) grants scholarships to undergraduate students from vulnerable social groups and low-income backgrounds, to support equal access to and timely completion of their studies. It also offers funding to postgraduate students through innovative and international programmes, as well as to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers, to strengthen research, innovation and mobility both in Greece and abroad.

AUTh Scholarships and Bequests

Το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ) χορηγεί, μέσω του Τμήματος Σπουδών, υποτροφίες σε φοιτήτριες και φοιτητές αλλοδαπής, αλλογενούς ή ομογενούς καταγωγής (προπτυχιακού και μεταπτυχιακού επιπέδου) πανεπιστημίων του εξωτερικού για την παρακολούθηση του Θερινού Εντατικού Προγράμματος του Σχολείου Νέας Ελληνικής Γλώσσας. Επιπλέον, το ΑΠΘ προσφέρει υποτροφίες μέσω της Επιτροπής Ερευνών, του Τμήματος Διεθνών Σχέσεων και του Τμήματος Κληροδοτημάτων του ιδρύματος.

The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), through its Department of Studies, grants scholarships to foreign, non-Greek-origin and Greek-origin (omogeneis) students (undergraduate and postgraduate) from universities abroad, for attending the Summer Intensive Programme of the School of Modern Greek Language. In addition, AUTh offers scholarships through its Research Committee, its Office of International Relations and its Bequests Office.
